My everyday susi place - consistently fresh and enjoyable sushi - friendly staff
I have to say I have tried every sushi place at least on the south Shore of staten island, every restaurant at least a few times. There are many good places, good local spots. When it comes to sushi rolls, it's easy to get away with a lower grade fish or a different cut style. But when it comes to sashimi, the fish has to be cut just right to give it a perfect texture. Tomo has been doing such a great job. Compare it by ordering a few sashimi pieces from any restaurant that's when you can really get to taste the sushi texture. 5 stars for clean cut of fish.
